The Men of Immanuel Lutheran Church (MOI) is a faith-based fellowship of adult men dedicated to serving God, strengthening our church family, and supporting our local community through Christian service and outreach.
MOI AT WORK
We gather on the second Saturday of each month at 7:30 a.m. in the parish hall for a home-cooked breakfast, fellowship, and Bible study. These gatherings provide an opportunity to grow in faith, build friendships, and encourage one another in our walk with Christ.
Our members play an active role in the life of our congregation, supporting many church activities, including the annual Church Festival and helping with fundraising efforts at our Christmas Market. We are also honored to prepare and host the annual Women of Faith Dinner, celebrating and showing appreciation for the women of our church.
Our commitment to serving the church extends to supporting our youth. Members help with Wednesday evening youth group activities and serve as youth Sunday School teachers, sharing their time and faith with the next generation. We also help maintain our church grounds through lawn care.
Beyond our congregation
Beyond our congregation, we extend our Christian service into the community by supporting the La Vernia Food Pantry, participating in the Adopt-a-Highway program to help keep our roadsides clean, and sharing our carpentry skills with the Texas Ramp Project, building ADA-compliant access ramps for individuals and families in need.
Through faith, fellowship, and a willing spirit of service, the Men of Immanuel Lutheran Church strive to be the hands and feet of Christ, making a meaningful difference in our church and community for the glory of God.
